Definition of Recent Research Report:
The abstract contains the research results that you were not able to submit by the regular abstract submission deadline due to the progress of the research work. RRR submissions will only be considered for poster presentations. You should use the same template as for writing a regular abstract.

  • Abstracts must be submitted online through the abstract submission website https://www.dekonabstract.com/FEZA2023. Abstracts sent by e-mail or through any other means will not be accepted. Please use the abstract template and save your formatted abstract as a PDF file for submission.
  • The deadline for submission of abstracts is Tuesday the 31st of January 2023 at 5pm (Central European Time). Abstracts received after the submission deadline will not be accepted.
  • Abstracts may be submitted for a poster or oral presentation.

    • The submitting author will be informed by e-mail about the acceptance of the abstract soon after the evaluation process is completed. Acceptance is at the discretion of the scientific committee.
    • The best and most original abstracts sent for poster presentation may be selected for short oral presentations in either one of the scientific sessions. Please indicate in the system, when submitting your abstract for poster presentation, if you do not wish to have your abstract evaluated for a short oral presentation.
    • Further information about oral presentations (time, date and length) will be provided to authors upon abstract acceptance. Full presentation guidelines will be included in the acceptance letter and posted on the conference website.
    • Posters will be displayed in the poster hall. Detailed instructions for the poster presentations will be included in the acceptance letter and posted on the conference website.
  • Please note that at least the presenting author (presenter) of each abstract should register for the conference. Abstracts submitted without any corresponding presenter registration will be withdrawn. Each presenter may present only one abstract.

  • Abstracts must be submitted in English.
  • Abstracts must contain accurate data and meet international ethical standards
  • The abstract should contain the title of the paper, the names of the authors, and affiliations (including the cities and the countries), and the e-mail address of the presenting author.
  • Please prepare the content of your abstract in "sentence case", not all in "CAPITALS”, and paste it to the online form. The online system allows you to prepare your draft and edit it later, up until you have submitted your abstract.
  • The abstract system will not allow submissions below 400 and exceeding 600 words, including references (if any).
  • Please do not use tables, images, or graphics and use international characters only.
  • Only standard abbreviations should be used.
  • Please ensure that your abstract does not contain spelling, grammatical or scientific errors. No corrections are possible after the submission deadline. The abstract will be reproduced as submitted in the event materials. No proofreading will be done of the scientific content.
  • The correct topic must be selected to ensure correct allocation within the program. The content of the abstract must be topic related. Abstracts must be allocated to one of the following topics:

    • Advanced synthesis (zeolites, zeolite-like materials, MOFs, other porous solids)
    • Computational approaches in porous materials research
    • Structure characterization
    • Operando investigations
    • Conversion and storage of energy
    • Decarbonization and CO2 management
    • Air and water cleaning
    • Separations
    • Bioapplications
    • On the way to utilization

Accepted abstracts will be published in the conference e-book of abstracts.
