Portorož (Slovenian) or Portorose (Italian), meaning 'Port of Roses', is located in southwestern Slovenia in the municipality of Piran. The town of Portorož-Portorose is known for its spas and health resorts on the Adriatic Sea. The town has a long history of wellness and healing, with thermal baths in brine and salty mud dating back to the 13th century.
